Washington, DC (January 8) -- Kilpatrick Stockton announced today that Partner Mark Taylor has been named to Washingtonian Magazine’s 2009 Top Lawyer listing. He was included in the publication’s December listing for his exemplary work in Bankruptcy Law. Mr. Taylor was also listed as a Top Lawyer in the publication’s previous listing, which came out in 2007.

The listing represents the top one percent of the area’s 80,000 attorneys. More than 1,000 area attorneys were asked who they would hire to represent themselves, and the results were published as the sixth edition of the annual list.

Mr. Taylor is a partner in Litigation Department of Kilpatrick Stockton’s Washington, D.C. office. He focuses his practice on Chapter 11 reorganization and financial restructuring and includes representation of debtors, Chapter 11 trustees, official committees, secured lenders and insurers. Mr. Taylor is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute and the Virginia State Bar, Bankruptcy Law Section.

He was recognized in The Best Lawyers In America® for Bankruptcy and Creditor-Debtor Rights Law in 2010 and the three years immediately preceding. Mr. Taylor is also listed in the 2009 edition of Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business in the area of Bankruptcy/Restructuring.
