RALEIGH (August 3) -- Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton announced today that Gary Joyner, Managing Partner of Kilpatrick Townsend’s Raleigh office, was named to the Triangle Business Journal’s inaugural listing of the “Triangle’s Most Influential Business Leaders.”
Mr. Joyner was among 100 leaders chosen by the publication in business, education, philanthropy and government who “influence and impact” the Triangle. Triangle Business Journal editors selected this elite group after going through hundreds of individuals across various industries that fall under the publication’s general coverage guidelines.
According to the Triangle Business Journal, “When big real estate deals get done, or when money is lined up for them, a handful of Triangle lawyers are among those in on the action. Gary Joyner…is one of those.” Mr. Joyner is also noted for being highly visible throughout the Triangle through organizations such as the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce, the North Carolina Chamber of Commerce, the Research Triangle Regional Partnership, the Wake Education Partnership and the Boys and Girls Club.
Mr. Joyner practices in the areas of commercial real estate and commercial lending. He regularly advises clients on mixed-use, retail and residential real estate and infrastructure development. Mr. Joyner counsels clients in regards to real estate acquisitions, sales and development joint ventures. He regularly advises companies on corporate and economic incentives.
Mr. Joyner is a former member of the firm’s Executive Committee and a former chair of the firm's Real Estate team. He is immediate past Chair of the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce.
