Jesse Bennett is a registered patent attorney who focuses his practice on patent preparation, prosecution, and related counseling.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Bennett worked as an associate at a large law firm in Atlanta, Georgia, where he counseled clients regarding licensing, patent prosecution, and trademarks. Mr. Bennett has experience counseling several Fortune 500 companies with their intellectual property needs. In particular, he has experience drafting U.S. and foreign patent applications and office action responses for inventions related to databases and data structures, memory architectures, mechanical devices, authentication systems, digital imaging, network technologies, e-book readers and other consumer products, turbines and power station management, coupon and promotion systems, gaming and gambling platforms, payment processing, aeronautical devices, pharmaceutical claims processing, as well as various other software applications and business methods.
During law school, Mr. Bennett served as associate editor of the FSU Law Review and as an articles selection committee member of the FSU Business Law Review.
While attending engineering school at the University of Florida, Mr. Bennett was selected to participate in the Integrated Product and Process Design (IPPD) program, an inter-disciplinary internship with General Dynamics, where he designed and built a PLC interfaced software control system for a heat treat furnace.
