Robert Lakatos focuses his practice on labor and employment law. His practice encompasses the whole area of employment and labor law (including pensions) and, in particular, a variety of complex contentious matters. In addition, Mr. Lakatos focuses on commercial litigation and arbitration. He frequently acts as counsel for Swedish and international companies in complex domestic and international litigation/arbitration including M&A disputes, professional negligence disputes and disputes concerning trade secrets. Mr. Lakatos has also worked with internal and regulatory investigations for a number of years and has a proven track record investigating serious and complex commercial and regulatory fraud cases.
Prior to joining Kilpatrick Stockton, Mr Lakatos was partner at Roschier (2007-2009), Managing Associate at Linklaters (2001-2007), Associate at Lagerlöf & Leman (1999-2001). Prior to joining Lagerlöf & Leman he worked as in-house litigator for one of Sweden's largest employers associations (1998 -1999) and served as judge for a number of years (1992-1998).
Mr. Lakatos is fluent in Swedish and English.
