Max Rinaldi focuses his practice in the area of real estate, finance and capital markets, distressed debt, title defense, leasing and related commercial litigation. He also has extensive experience in creditor representation related to non-performing commercial loans and leases, involving the prosecution of creditor’s rights and remedies such as receiverships, replevin, judicial foreclosures, workouts, contested bankruptcy matters, litigation and resulting judgment enforcement/collection.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Rinaldi was a founding partner of Nanis & Rinaldi, LLP in Astoria, New York, a general practice law firm where he worked for more than 14 years. At Nanis & Rinaldi, LLP, Mr. Rinaldi handled commercial litigation and business transactions, represented equipment lease institutions, and conducted real estate closings and transactions. Moreover, Mr. Rinaldi was retained counsel for major title insurance companies to defend title on behalf of their insureds such as property owners, lenders and other lienors in a variety of claims including bar claim actions, fraudulent deeds and mortgages, quiet title actions, adverse possession claims, lien priority disputes and boundary claims disputes. Previously, Mr. Rinaldi worked as a senior litigation associate in the New York City office of an international financial services/business law firm.
Mr. Rinaldi is fluent in Italian and Spanish.
